Mark's Birding Diary: November
Mark Prestwood |
Only two new birds this month.
Sunday 9th November: a Razorbill off Heysham North Harbour Wall (seen also by John Reddish). The winds were wrong but I still had Red-throated Diver and four Guillemots.
30th November: a Glaucous Gull on the River Lune by the Golden Ball pub. This was found by Pete Crooks and later seen by myself and John Reddish. It was a bird of some significance for John, being his 200th of the year. A pity the nearby pub wasn't open at the time to celebrate!
