December 2004
Purple Sandpiper, seen on the 4th from Jenny Brown's
Point, was the only new bird of the month.
Thanks to Tom Wheeler for phoning John Reddish to inform us as we were in Leighton
Moss tearoom as usual.
January 2005
Started off the New Year well with Sooty Gull, Great White Egret, Crested Tern, House Crow, Little Swift, Common Mynah, Roller, African Pied Wagtail and African Fish Eagle. The names of the last two birds might just give away the fact that I was not in England!
