| Sedge Warbler | Several pairs breed in the area. Often seen on passage |
| Whitethroat | Usually breeds in small no's. in the bushes at the point. Common Migrant. |
| Lesser Whitethroat | At least one pair has bred in Potts Corner Woods. Migrant. |
| Garden Warbler | Scarce migrant. |
| Blackcap | Scarce migrant. Only known recent record was a singing male 25/4/99. |
| Chiffchaff | Fairly common early spring migrant. Less records in autumn. Bred (1 pair) in 1999 |
| Willow Warbler | Common migrant, sometimes in small parties. Breeds in Overton Woods. Three pairs at Sunderland in '98. |
| Goldcrest | Fairly common migrant. |
