Amazed to see an immature flying near the old Wetterhorn high level cable car station on 16/9. Huge size evident when it was briefly mobbed by a couple of Ravens. Long, diamond shaped tail seen well.

1 seen from the First Cable Car soaring in front of the Wetterhorn 2 others seen whilst having a coffee on the walk from Kleine Scheidegg to Wengen, soaring in front of the Schilthorn. Must have climbed to 15000ft or more before disappearing from view.

LIFER Briefest glimpse of red & white as we came to the end of the timber plank walk up the glacier gorge. Waited for another 20 minutes or so before watching it make its way purposefully up the gorge face opposite. Then stopped and preened for 10 minutes or more. Fantastic !!

Seen on several days. Excellent views near Bachalpsee. Approached very close to 3 on the Schynigge Plateau. They were very plump obviously ready for hibernation.

3 young and 3 adults seen high on snowy rocks on walk from First to Grosse Scheidegg. Similar Nos seen close in pastures in Murren. Were they wild?

Shrew

Seen frantically rushing around on the snow next to the path leading from First to Bachalpsee. Did not even leave any footprints on the snow.
