Many around temples at Angkor Wat, Cambodia, and at Taman Negara, Malaysia.
One tried to sneak into the dining room at Taman Negara pretending to be a cat.
15. Pig-tailed Macaque (Macaca nemestrina)
Many seen Khao Yai NP, Thailand especially along road
16. White-handed Gibbon (Hylobates lar)
Pair watched at campground in Khao Yai NP, another pair over road in Kaeng Krachan,
Thailand. Song heard daily in those parks.
17. Pileated Gibbon (Hylobates pileatus)
One seen Khao Yai NP, Thailand and heard daily in that park
18. Siamang (Hylobates syndactylus)
Heard but sadly not seen Frasier's Hill, Malaysia
19. Lesser Mousedeer (Tragulus javanicus)
One seen Taman Negara, Malaysia
20. Indian Muntjac (Muntiacus muntjak)
Also known as Common Muntjac or Barking Deer. A few seen Khao Yai NP, Thailand.
One barked at us on Radar Road scaring us and the deer.
21. Sambar (Cervus unicolor)
Eight or nine seen in herd Khao Yai NP, Thailand
22. Asiatic Elephant (Elephas maximus)
Herd of three seen eating ginger just off the road Khao Yai NP, Thailand
