  • more amazing than any of these, coming eyeball to eyeball with a Grass Snake while swimming in the Teufelsee. The snake actually came to check me out...Allan Finlayson reports.

Naturpark Nuthe Nieplitz September 2005

  • Lots of geese were there. Also White Swans, 3 x Great Egrets and Pochards were there. From Rieben there is a small way to another visiting tower. On the channel I saw Kingfisher, Hobby, Chaffinch and far away in the trees a White Tailed Eagle...Dieter Gabriel reports.
