• If this wasn't enough, a couple of Laysan Albatrosses joined in, quite a scarce species in these parts.  A flock of 100 or more Sabine's Gulls came by and were harried by several Arctic Skuas (Parasitic Jaegers) and we had the occasional quick glimpse of a Fork-tailed Storm-Petrel.....Peter Dedicoat reports for Avian Adventures

• Within a minute or so of getting out of the vans and half way through our coffees which were very soon abandoned, we heard an Elegant Trogan calling just a short distance up the track. • This book impressed me. For the traveling bird watcher with a family to entertain, there is no better destination than Florida. This book deserves to be your constant companion. The author misses no oportunity to point out the wildlife highlights of the area.
  For Birders, Merrit Island, The Dry Tortugas, The Everglades, Corkscrew Swamp and Sanibel Island, are all in here. (And for the rest of the family there is Disney, Busch Gardens, Cape Canaveral.....)
